How much do Secure Server IDs cost?

• VeriSign charges $349 for initial IDs and $249 for "additional" IDs. A Server ID digital certificate is good for one year and must be renewed each year ($249 to renew existing certificate). Ashton ITC does not charge any additional fees to act as an agent for our Internet Presence clients.

Note: This 3-part form for Ashton ITC clients only. Your Ashton ITC Account will be charged $349.00 (or $249 for renewals) for your digital certificate. This is the same cost as it would be directly from VeriSign. You will be billed annually to renew the certificate.

Part 1 - Distinguished Name Description Common Name The fully qualified name of the website that will be secured with this Server ID. (example - www.ashtonitc.com) Organization Your organization's name. This must be the same as the registered owner of the domain name. (example - Ashton Integrated Technologies Corp.) Organizational Unit Optional field used to differentiate organizational divisions and DBA names. example - Ashton ITC) City/Location The city or locality in which your organization does business. (example - Dandridge) State/Province The state or province where your organization does business. This information must be spelled out fully, no abbreviations. (example - Tennessee) Country The two-character ISO country code. For example, GB for Great Britain and US for the United States. (example - US)

 

Part 2 - Enter Organizational Contact Information Enter the contact information for the person in your organization who is responsible for the Server ID and for providing organizational information on request. For example, a high-level manager. This must be a member of the organization you have listed above. We must be able to reach your organizational contact by phone before we can issue your Server ID.
